RALPH MECZYK: When I walk into a courtroom, I feel that I own that courtroom. It's mine. It's my stage; it's going to be my show because I'm going to do everything I can to save my client.
I usually handle more complex criminal litigation. And I've argued before the United States Supreme Court in 2002 in a landmark case Illinois versus Caballes.

RALPH MECZYK: And I've argued in almost every United States district court of appeals through out the country.
There's only one word for me. I'm very intense. This is my life. I love being an advocate. I love being the champion of those wrongfully accused of crime.
CHRIS FIGUEROA: Caught the case when I was 18-years-old, in 2000, and they never gave up on me. I was fighting the case for eight years. They're good peoples, you know, they, they didn't let me down. You know, he, he stood with me, you know, until I came home. I, I believe in him, you know? They got me out.
RALPH MECZYK: If I believe in the cause, I'll take it all the way through, it doesn't matter. I'm not going to let my client rot in jail.
